What is changing about your work?

Is this a new role, a different employer, an extension question, or a concern about your current status? Say where you are and what work is proposed. A worker's permission to work is a different question from an employer's hiring obligations.

What record should be reviewed before choosing a route?

Keep the job details, your current permit or status document, application confirmations and any government letters together. Include the dates that explain the sequence. These facts show what needs checking; they do not establish a right to work or an extension.

When is the employer's LMIA question separate?

If an employer is hiring you, the employer may need to understand its own LMIA or other hiring route. That does not answer your permit question by itself. Vancouver employers can read LMIA help for Vancouver employers; the Canada-wide work permit guide owns the deeper worker explanation.

How do you start?

Choose the closest situation in the Canada-plans intake, then add the job, document and date details. You can change the selection before requesting a 15-minute introductory call with Mehdi. The request does not book a call or decide a permit route.
