Start the intake with the immigration problem in front of you. Mehdi can then identify whether a consultation or another next step is useful for the matter.

What happens after you start your intake

Start with a few questions about your situation. You can then request a 15-minute call with Mehdi.

The intake is not an immigration consultation. It helps identify the question and the appropriate next step before advice is given.

The purpose is simple: What are you dealing with? Is it something I handle? And if it is, what should the next conversation be?

When a consultation may be the next useful step

A consultation may be useful when your situation needs substantive immigration advice.

We can use the consultation to work through your options, risks, evidence, timing, or next step.

I review the information you provide first so we can spend the meeting on the decisions your facts create, rather than starting from zero.

Why Immigreen asks for information before advice

There are two reasons. One is professional. The other is practical.

Immigration advice is a regulated professional service

Before an initial immigration consultation, the Code of Professional Conduct requires a written consultation agreement that identifies the potential client and sets out the purpose and scope of the consultation.

The intake is not that consultation, so Mehdi asks for basic information first to understand who is reaching out and what they need to discuss.

See section 23 of the Code of Professional Conduct →

The next answer depends on your actual facts

Immigration questions can look almost identical on the surface and have completely different answers once you know the person's history, current status, important dates, previous applications or refusals, family situation, work or education history, and what they are actually trying to accomplish.

So when I ask questions before we meet, it is not paperwork for the sake of paperwork.

It is how we avoid spending your consultation guessing.

Share the real immigration situation, not a polished version

You do not need to make your case sound stronger before you speak with me.

If something is difficult, complicated or uncomfortable, include it. If you were refused before, include it. If you made a mistake in an earlier application, tell me. If there is a fact you think may be a problem, do not leave it out because you are unsure whether it matters.

The useful conversation is the one based on the actual facts.

My job is to help you understand what matters, what does not, and what the sensible next step is from where you actually are.
